Description
SDP72-001 - Scobie-Do Productions 1/72 the RCN Avenger conversion
WWHP121010
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
Between 1950 and 1952 the Royal Canadian Navy took delivery of 125 ex-US Navy TBM-3E Avengers to replace its Fairey Fireflies. Fairey Aviation of Canada converted most of them to the AS 3 anti-submarine standard, with radar and sonobuoy gear in place of the turret and ventral gun. This Canadian-made resin set from Scobie-Do Productions builds any of three post-war RCN Avenger variants.
