Roden's early-2000s new-tool IS-3, produced in Ukraine with assistance from IBG of Poland. Around 122 parts on two sprues plus vinyl band tracks with separate link segments, and a DShK anti-aircraft machine gun for the turret. Painting guide and decals for an IS-3 of the Kantemirov Guards Division, 1946, with Humbrol colour callouts on the box rear.

The IS-3 was the final Soviet heavy tank of the war era, entering production in May 1945 with a 122 mm gun, a ballistically shaped "pike nose" bow, and a low domed turret that heavily influenced postwar tank design worldwide. It arrived too late for combat in Europe, but its September 1945 debut at the Berlin victory parade rattled Western observers, and the type later saw action with Egypt in 1956 and 1967.
