Reims FTB337G Lynx is a light reconnaissance and anti-partisan aircraft of French production from the post-war era, used in Rhodesia aviation since 1975. The length of the aircraft was 9.07 meters with a wingspan of 11.68 meters. The deck armament consists of two 7.7 mm machine guns. The machine could also carry two bombs weighing 454 kg each, or containers with machine guns, cannons or cluster bombs. Reims FTB337G Lynx was created as a license version of the American multi-role Cessna Skymaster plane. The plane featured two propellers: pushing and pulling, a three-support landing gear retracted in flight, as well as a rear tail placed on two beams. Reims FTB337G Lynx was created by converting civilian machines to military tasks, and the main changes concerned the installation of on-board weapons, adding external pylons for overhead weapons. The engine protection against small arms fire has also been improved. It is estimated that 17 or 18 aircraft were delivered to Rhodesia out of 21 ordered machines of this type.
