The Beechcraft AT-11 is an American training aircraft from the Second World War. The AT-11 is a twin-engined all-metal low wing aircraft powered by twin Pratt-Whitney R-985-AN-1 radial engines. The flight of the civilian version of the aircraft took place in 1937, and it was commissioned by the army in 1941. The AT-11 was used to train the crews of heavy strategic bombers. More than 1,582 aircraft of this type were produced in the period 1941-1945, and 36 machines were modified to the AT-11A standard as machines for navigation training.
