Description
RMXH-656 - Revell 1/72 Boeing P-26A "Peashooter" - WWHP111661
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Boeing P-26 "Peashooter" was the U.S. Army Air Corps' first all-metal monoplane fighter, entering service in 1934. A transitional design, it retained an open cockpit, fixed landing gear, and wire-braced wings even as it abandoned the biplane layout, bridging the gap between the fabric biplanes of the 1920s and the modern monoplane fighters that followed. In its colourful pre-war squadron markings it remains one of the most recognizable "golden age" U.S. fighters.
This is the Revell (G.B.) Ltd. boxing of the 1/72 Boeing P-26A (Potters Bar, England), based on Revell's classic "Authentic Kits" tooling, with a frameable box-top illustration.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, with movable wheels and propeller
- Pilot figure
- Display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet (U.S. Army Air Corps markings)
