RMXH-641 - Revell 1/72 Nakajima KI-43 Hayabusa - WWHP111665
Preowned, Resealed, Mint,
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa ("Peregrine Falcon"), code-named "Oscar" by the Allies, was the most-produced fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War. Extremely light and agile, it was a favourite of many Japanese army aces, though it paid for that maneuverability with light armament and minimal pilot protection. It served on every front the Army flew, from China and Burma to the Pacific and the defence of the Home Islands.
This is the Canadian-issue Revell "Authentic Kits" boxing of the 1/72 Ki-43 (©1965 Revell Inc., Venice CA; manufactured and litho'd in Canada), with full French instructions and box art depicting an "Oscar" of the Japanese Army Air Force.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, ~6.25 inch (15.9 cm) wingspan
- Removable cowling with detailed engine
- Two-position landing gear; movable wheels and propeller
- Clear cockpit canopy
- Detailed pilot figure and display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet (Japanese Army Air Force markings)
- Illustrated French-language assembly/painting instructions with collector's 3-view drawing
