RMXH-1459 - Revell 1/25 Gene Snow's Revell Snowman - WWHP113772
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
Gene Snow of Fort Worth, Texas was one of the top Funny Car racers of the 1970s. He won major NHRA, AHRA and IHRA meets with a reputation for both top speed and consistently low elapsed times. In the mid 1970s Revell sponsored his Chevrolet Vega Funny Car, the “Revell Snowman,” which wore a bright red and white livery with a fierce flaming abominable snowman on the sides. Under the flip-up body sat a blown, nitro-burning Hemi built by Ed Pink, mounted in an S&R chassis. Revell first released the kit in its Famous Racers Series, and this 1996 Revell-Monogram reissue brought it back with the original Snowman graphics.
