Ford's Model A pickup arrived in 1928 as basic working transport, and by the 1950s cheap surplus bodies had made it a hot rod staple. The closed cab version picked up the nickname "phone booth" for its tall, narrow shape.

This is Revell kit H-1272, first tooled in 1965 as part of the Authentic Kits line. It builds either the closed cab or the roadster body, with opening doors, a hinged hood, and a working tailgate. Real hardwood strips are supplied for the pickup bed, and the instructions cover both a stock build and a customised version using the included speed parts.
