1982 History Makers limited production issue from the ex-Renwal toolings. Large 1/32 scale kit with full interior detail, rotating turret, elevating gun, opening doors, working bogies, flexible tracks, and a six-figure crew. Moulded in the USA; includes waterslide decals and instructions.

The M55 was a US 203 mm (8-inch) self-propelled howitzer developed in the early 1950s, sharing its chassis and fully enclosed turret with the M53. Built on reversed M47/M48 Patton automotive components, it featured a hydraulic recoil spade and an enclosed turret offering NBC protection for the crew. M55s served with the US Army and Marine Corps and saw combat in Vietnam before being replaced by the M110.
