RMX8616 - Revell 1/32 Hawker Typhoon Mk1B History Makers - WWHP119441
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Typhoon was conceived as the Hurricane's high-altitude successor and did that job badly, hampered early on by an unreliable Napier Sabre and a structure that shed tails. Down low it was a different aeroplane entirely, and with four 20 mm Hispano cannon, bombs and later rockets it became the RAF's most feared ground attack type over Normandy. This is Revell's 1973 tooling of the early framed canopy car door Typhoon, reissued in 1982 as part of the History Makers limited production series.
