Dick Landy was a factory-backed Dodge drag racer and Chrysler Performance Advisor who competed across NHRA and AHRA from the 1960s through 1980, winning AHRA Pro Stock world championships in 1973 and 1974. His 1968 Charger was a full race build — 12.5:1 race Hemi, magnesium cross-ram intake, fiberglass front body panels — running 10.40s at 132 mph and winning the AHRA Winternationals Street Class that year.
