The 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda was the final year of E-body Barracuda production and the last model year the 426 cu in Hemi was offered as a factory option. Only nine Hemi-powered 'Cuda convertibles were built for 1971, making surviving examples among the most valuable American muscle cars. The convertible body style, paired with the 426 Hemi, Pistol Grip 4-speed, and shaker hood scoop, represents the apex of Chrysler's muscle car programme before emissions regulations brought it to an end. This Revell kit is a 2005 rebox of the 2003 new-tool tooling.
