Jim Liberman, better known as "Jungle Jim", was one of the most popular showmen in 1970s drag racing, famous for his smoky burnouts, long wheelstands and the tireless touring schedule that took his Chevy funny cars to tracks all over North America, including regular stops in Canada. His Chevrolet Vega flopper, part of Revell's sponsored "All Star Racing Team", wore the wild caveman-swinging-on-a-vine artwork that made it one of the most recognisable cars of the era. Revell's 1993 reissue kit captures the car with its lift-up body and fully detailed tube chassis.
