The 1969 Mustang Super Cobra Jet was one of the most potent muscle cars of the era, powered by the 428 cubic inch FE V8 with a wild shaker hood scoop. Built specifically to counter GM's performance machines, it ran 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and quarter-mile times of 13.56 seconds. Dick Brannan Ford and driver Don Nicholson ran Super CJs successfully on the NHRA drag circuit. Hot Rod Magazine series from Revell, 1989. Skill Level 2.
