Revell 1/32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk I/II" PREOWNED10118321
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk I and Mk II were the RAF's primary single-seat fighters during the Battle of Britain in 1940, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin and armed with eight .303 Browning machine guns. The Mk II introduced a more powerful Merlin XII engine and was delivered from the Castle Bromwich Aircraft Factory beginning in mid-1940, gradually replacing the Mk I on frontline squadrons through late 1940 and into 1941. Both marks served with Fighter Command across southern England during the critical months of the German air offensive.
