RMX4106 - Revell 1/72 Nieuport 17C - WWHP113506
Preowned, Resealed, Parts off sprue
The Nieuport 17 arrived at the front in the spring of 1916 and gave French squadrons the edge they needed during Verdun and the Somme. Its sesquiplane layout, with a narrow single spar lower wing and V struts, paired a light airframe with a 110 hp Le Rhône rotary for a fighter that climbed and turned better than almost anything opposing it. Guynemer, Nungesser and the pilots of the Escadrille Lafayette all flew the type, and it served with the RFC, RNAS, Belgian, Italian and Russian air services before the SPAD VII took over.
In the box:
- Injection moulded plastic parts, moulded in colour in dark green
- Single parts breakdown covering fuselage halves, upper and lower wings, tailplane, rudder, cowling, propeller, cabane and V struts, undercarriage, wheels and Vickers gun
- 1 Pilot figure and instrument detail included
- Waterslide decal sheet with French cocardes in six sizes plus rudder tricolour and serial markings for one Aéronautique Militaire aircraft
- Folded multilingual instruction sheet with exploded assembly diagram and decal placement
- Top opening rigid box with period Revell artwork
- Paint and cement not included
