The 2002 Camaro SS marked the final year of the fourth-generation F-body platform before General Motors discontinued the nameplate. Chevrolet issued a 35th Anniversary Limited Edition package for 2002 — distinguished by two-tone Ebony/Medium Gray leather interior, anniversary rally stripes, and unique five-spoke wheels — commemorating the Camaro's introduction in 1967. All 2002 Camaros carried a 35th Anniversary dash plaque; the LE package added the exterior and interior upgrades.
