The Sd.Kfz.234 series was built for the long distances and heat of North Africa, with an eight-wheel monocoque hull and a Tatra diesel, though it arrived too late for that theatre and served in Europe instead. The 234/4 was the last and most brutal variant, an open-topped mount for the same 7.5 cm PaK 40 the infantry used, fitted in late 1944 as Germany scrambled for anything that could kill a tank. Only around 90 were completed. This is Rye Field Model's 2024 tooling in full interior form.
