Queen Mary 2 was built as a transatlantic liner rather than a cruise ship, with the deep hull and long forward sheer needed to cross the North Atlantic in winter, and she remains the last ship of that kind in service. At 1/1200 the whole ship fits in under thirty centimetres, which makes her a manageable build for a display shelf where a larger scale liner would never fit.
