Description
RAG04394 - Revell - 1/72 Handley Page Halifax B Mk.I/II, GR.II - WWWEB10115651
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Handley Page Halifax was Bomber Command's second four-engine heavy bomber, flying its first operation in March 1941 with No. 35 Squadron and going on to serve with many RAF and RCAF squadrons throughout the war. The early Merlin-powered B.I and B.II carried the main bomber offensive in 1941 and 1942, while others were adapted for Special Duties work dropping agents and supplies into occupied Europe and for maritime patrol with Coastal Command as the GR.II. Revell's 2006 tooling captures these early Merlin variants in 1/72, with a finished wingspan of over 41 cm.
