The A320 was the first airliner with fly by wire controls and a sidestick instead of a yoke, which caused plenty of argument at the time and is now simply how narrowbodies are built. Edelweiss Air is the Swiss leisure carrier founded in 1995, flying holiday routes out of Zurich, and its A320s wear one of the more cheerful liveries in Europe with the flower on the tail and the big script down the fuselage.

Skill level 3. Finished model is 26.1 cm long with a 23.5 cm span. Made in Europe.
