The A330 came out of Airbus's decision to build two aircraft on one airframe, sharing a wing, fuselage, and cockpit with the four engined A340. The twin engined A330-300 first flew in 1992 and became a mainstay of medium and long haul fleets, with the common type rating letting airlines move crews between Airbus types with minimal retraining.

This is Revell kit 04220 in 1/144. Engraved panel lines, detailed undercarriage and engine nacelles, and clear cabin windows. Skill level 3, finished model 41.2cm long with a 43.7cm span. Decals cover the Airbus Industrie house scheme.
