Description
RAG03862 - Revell - 1/144 Boeing 767 300ER British Airways - WWHP113777
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Boeing 767 first flew in 1981 and became one of the most important widebody jets of its era. It was one of the first twin-engine airliners approved for long overwater flights, which opened the way for twinjets to cross the Atlantic on routes that once needed three or four engines. The stretched 767-300ER became the most popular version. British Airways flew a fleet of them from 1990 to 2018 with Rolls-Royce RB211 engines, making BA the launch customer for the Rolls-Royce-powered 767. This kit shows G-BNWB with the “Chelsea Rose” tail, one of the “World Images” artistic tail designs British Airways introduced in 1997. Air Canada also flew 767-300ERs for decades, so a builder could pair this kit with a Canadian 767.
