The SpPz 2 Luchs (German for "Lynx") is an eight-wheeled amphibious armoured reconnaissance vehicle developed for the Bundeswehr and entering service in 1975. Notable for its all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, it was fully amphibious and could be driven in either direction with equal facility thanks to a rear-facing driver's position. Armed with a 20mm autocannon, the Luchs served in the German Army's reconnaissance role for several decades.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit, Revell skill level 4.
