The Marder 1 is a German tracked infantry fighting vehicle developed for the Bundeswehr and entering service in 1971. Carrying a crew and a mounted infantry squad, it is armed with a 20mm autocannon and was one of the first purpose-built IFVs of the Cold War era. The A3 upgrade of the 1980s added substantial applique armour and revised the vehicle's protection and layout, keeping the Marder in frontline German service for decades.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit, Revell skill level 3.
