Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Ferrari 250 GTO is the most celebrated GT car ever built, with just 36 produced between 1962 and 1964. This kit depicts chassis 3705GT, the #19 car of Pierre Noblet and Jean Guichet at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it finished second overall and won the GT class - a remarkable result for a privateer entry against the prototype field. The blue and white stripe over rosso corsa marks Noblet's French entry.
Protar of Italy issue, Mod. 213, complete with period Le Mans photography on the side panels.
