MPC6026 - MPC 1/25 Dan Gurney's Olsonite Eagle - WWHP111077
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
This kit replicates the #48 Olsonite Eagle Indy car built by Dan Gurney's All American Racers, one of the most iconic American open-wheel cars of the late 1960s. Gurney drove the Olsonite Eagle to second place at the 1968 Indianapolis 500, behind Bobby Unser in a sister Eagle. The Eagle marque also earned Gurney lasting fame in Formula 1: at the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa he became the only American to win a Formula 1 race in a car of his own construction, driving the Eagle-Weslake. This is a reissue of MPC's classic tooling, offered as a Buyer's Choice release.
