Description
PC175 - Monogram 1/24 Hurst Hairy Olds - WWHP119951
Preowned, Resealed, Mint, some parts off sprue
Hurst Performance built the Hairy Olds in 1966 as a rolling showcase for Oldsmobile's new front-wheel-drive Toronado drivetrain. It packed two supercharged 425 cu. in. Toronado engines into a 4-4-2 body, one driving the front wheels and one the rear, for over 1,000 horsepower through all four wheels. Driven by "Gentleman" Joe Schubeck, it smoked all four tires the length of the strip at exhibition dates across America, topping 185 mph. Monogram first issued this kit in 1967, and Revell-Monogram reissued it in 1995.
