Super modifieds are purpose-built oval track racers pairing lightweight open-wheel chassis with big V8 power, known for violent straightaway acceleration and sideways slides through the corners. Kurtis Kraft roadsters, with their Offenhauser engines, were a dominant force at Indianapolis through the 1950s. Monogram paired its two 1/24 racers in 1988 as a Petersen's Circle Track Magazine combo kit, and this is the bilingual Canadian issue.
