MON5450 - Monogram 1/72 F-105F Fighter Bomber - WWWEB10114259
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was the primary strike aircraft used by the United States Air Force over North Vietnam during the early years of the Rolling Thunder bombing campaign. The two-seat F-105F variant was introduced to serve as a trainer and later adapted for the Wild Weasel surface-to-air missile suppression role, flying some of the most dangerous missions of the war. This kit depicts a 36th Tactical Fighter Wing aircraft based at Bitburg AB, Germany, in 1965 markings.
Released under Monogram's NAM Tour of Duty series, this is a rebox of the Monogram F-105F tooling originally released in 1985 (No. 5438).
- Injection-moulded plastic sprues
- Clear parts sprue
- Waterslide decal sheet (36 TFW, 63-8304, Bitburg AB, 1965)
