Description
MON2940 - Monogram 1/24 Snickers Buick - WWHP111906
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
Rick Wilson drove the #8 Snickers Buick for Stavola Brothers Racing in the 1991 NASCAR Winston Cup Series, one of the last seasons in which Buick fielded a presence in the series before withdrawing from factory involvement. Stavola Brothers Racing was a well-funded operation that had reached the pinnacle of the sport with Bobby Allison's 1988 Daytona 500 victory, and the Snickers sponsorship brought one of the most recognisable candy brands into the Winston Cup garage. The Buick Regal body style was among the last General Motors alternatives to the Chevrolet Lumina to appear in NASCAR's top division.
