Kyle Petty drove the #42 Peak Antifreeze Pontiac Grand Prix for SABCO Racing in the late 1980s, one of the most recognisable liveries of the era with its bold blue and white Peak colour scheme. Son of NASCAR legend Richard Petty and grandson of Lee Petty, Kyle carved out his own identity in the Winston Cup Series and the Peak Pontiac years marked his emergence as a consistent frontrunner. SABCO Racing, owned by Felix Sabates, provided Kyle with competitive equipment during this period on the Pontiac Grand Prix platform.
