This kit depicts the #42 Mello Yello Pontiac Grand Prix that Kyle Petty drove for Felix Sabates' SABCO Racing in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series of the early 1990s. Mello Yello became the team's sponsor in the early 90s, and Petty took the black-and-green car to wins at Watkins Glen and Rockingham in 1992, running near the front of the championship. This is Monogram's 1/24 scale Skill 2 kit in the Mello Yello livery.
