This kit replicates the #2 STP Lola Indy car fielded by Vince Granatelli Racing in the late 1980s CART/Indy car series, powered by a turbocharged Cosworth DFX V8 and driven by Roberto Guerrero. The Granatelli name carries deep Indianapolis history, Vince being the son of racing impresario Andy Granatelli, long associated with STP. Monogram released this 1/24 scale kit in 1989, capturing the fluorescent red STP livery and the ground-effects open-wheel chassis of the period.
