Apex Motorsport developed the Jaguar XKR GT3 from the supercharged V8 XKR coupe, bringing Jaguar back to international GT racing in the new FIA GT3 European Championship. In 2008 Phil Quaife and Stuart Hall raced the #33 car in grey and white CBT and Silverjet colours. The doors carry the names of Richard Lloyd, David Leslie and Chris Allarton, who were killed in a plane crash earlier that year, as a tribute from the team.
