The Sturmgeschütz III was Germany's most-produced armoured fighting vehicle of the Second World War, a turretless assault gun and tank destroyer built on the Panzer III chassis. The Ausf. G was the final and most numerous variant. "Alkett" (Altmärkische Kettenwerk) was the primary manufacturer, and this kit depicts a late-war 1945 Alkett-production example.
