The M4A3 Sandbag Armour Set is a diorama and detailing accessory designed to represent improvised battlefield protection used on Allied Sherman tanks during the later stages of World War II and the immediate post-war period. The M4A3 Sherman, one of the most widely used American medium tanks, was frequently modified in the field with sandbags and additional stowage to improve survivability against anti-tank weapons, particularly during operations in Northwest Europe. Meng Model’s SPS070 1/35 scale set recreates these field-applied armor additions with sculpted sandbag textures and mounting elements, allowing modelers to depict realistic combat-worn vehicles. Originally released by Meng Model, this set is now discontinued.
