Since its adoption and induction into service in 2005, the Chinese PLZ05 155mm self-propelled howitzer has been the army’s trump card for delivering suppressive fire. It is renowned for its 52-caliber-long barrel, firing range of over 50 kilometers, and digital fire-control system. Thanks to its automatic loading system, it delivers fast, accurate, and lethal strikes—perfect for “shoot-and-scoot” operations. The PLZ05 has also been featured multiple times in China’s military parades.
This MENG 1/72 72-014 Chinese PLZ05 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer model is about 152mm long, 47mm wide and 48mm high once assembled. The kit continues the series' features of easy assembly, a smooth assembly process, and a significantly optimized experience. This kit includes fine decals too.
