The Arado Ar 234 Blitz was the world's first operational jet bomber, entering service in 1944 and flying high-speed reconnaissance and bombing missions that Allied fighters struggled to intercept, including the March 1945 attacks on the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen. The B-2 flew on two Junkers Jumo 004B engines, while the C-series used four BMW 003A-1 units for a top speed of 875 km/h. This 1992 Matchbox release is the classic 1976 FROG tooling, reboxed under the Matchbox banner after Revell took over the brand, and includes the unusual V-1 piggyback launch arrangement.
