MAH703 - Minicraft Hasegawa 1/72 Light Tank Stuart Mk.1 - WWHP113703
Preowned, Resealed, Mint, decals useable but need work
The M3 light tank was developed from the M2A4 and went into production in March 1941. It had thicker armour, a 37mm gun and a large trailing idler wheel that made it more stable. By August 1941 the first M3s were in British hands in the Middle East. The British named the tank the "Stuart", and their crews, who liked its speed and reliability, nicknamed it "Honey". It was powered by a 250 hp Continental W-670 radial engine, and when those engines ran short, some tanks were fitted with a Guiberson nine-cylinder diesel instead.
