The Krupp L3H163 was a German medium three-axle (6x4) off-road truck developed from the L3H63 of 1928, powered by a six-cylinder carburetted engine of around 90 hp with a four-speed transmission and auxiliary gearbox for on- and off-road use. It first saw service in the Spanish Civil War and served throughout the Second World War, fitted with a wide range of bodies. The Kfz. 354 variant carried a boxed workshop/service body used for roles such as radio, field cable, and photographic support.
