LIN520:98 - Lindberg 1/48 Spirit of St. Louis - WWHP111624
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ryan NYP "Spirit of St. Louis" (registration N-X-211) carried Charles Lindbergh on the first solo non-stop transatlantic flight, departing New York on 20 May 1927 and landing in Paris roughly 33.5 hours later to claim the Orteig Prize. Built around a Wright J-5C Whirlwind radial and stripped of forward visibility to make room for fuel, the aircraft became one of the most recognized machines in aviation history. This is Lindberg's original 1956 tooling of the subject in 1/48 scale.
Box contents:
- White-moulded plastic sprues
- Waterslide decal sheet (black & white) for N-X-211 markings
- Printed paper assembly instructions
