Stingray was the star vessel of Gerry Anderson's 1964 Supermarionation series of the same name, the World Aquanaut Security Patrol's front line submarine and one of the most recognisable craft of the era. CC Lee's 1990s kit is a motorised waterline runner rather than a static display model, roughly ten inches long, with an automatic dive and surface mechanism and sealing parts for the motor housing and battery compartment so it can actually be run in water.
