Description
KPM15 - Kovozavody Prostejov 1/72 Aero L-39 Albatros - WWHP111712
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Aero L-39 Albatros succeeded the L-29 Delfín as the standard jet trainer of the Warsaw Pact, first flying in 1968 and entering service in the early 1970s. Powered by the Ivchenko AI-25TL turbofan, more than 2,800 were built, and the type remains a familiar sight today with air forces, civilian operators, and jet warbird owners worldwide. Box art depicts a Czechoslovak Air Force machine in green camouflage with high-visibility orange trim.
This is the original 1982 KP tooling in its Czechoslovak-era "Plastikový Model" box, made in the ČSSR. Authentic Cold War production from the L-39's home country.
Box contents:
- Parts molded in plastic with clear canopy and display stand
- Underwing fuel tanks as shown in the box art
- Waterslide decals with two options: Czechoslovak Air Force camouflage and the civil demonstrator OK-HXA
- Assembly instructions
