The 8.8cm Flak 37 was one of the most effective and versatile weapons of the Second World War, equally feared as an anti-aircraft gun and a tank destroyer. Its use as an anti-armour weapon became particularly notable in North Africa under Rommel, who employed it aggressively against Allied armour at long range. The Flak 37 variant introduced a revised data transmission system to improve fire control over the earlier Flak 18 and 36. This Italeri Fast Assembly kit depicts the gun in its Afrika Korps configuration with a full eight-man crew.
