The Red Arrows took over the RAF's official display duties in 1965 and moved to the Hawk T1 in 1980, a pairing that has defined the team ever since. This Italeri boxing marks the fiftieth display season in 2014, when the aircraft carried a Union flag tail with the 50 anniversary marking, and it belongs to Italeri's Aerobatic Teams Collection. The kit builds one aircraft but the decal sheet covers the whole team, so the individual airframe is the builder's choice.
