Preowned, resealed, mint, some parts off sprue

The Sukhoi Su-27 gave the Soviet Union a large twin engine air superiority fighter with the range, radar and agility to face Western types on equal terms. The naval version added canard foreplanes, folding wings, strengthened landing gear and an arresting hook so it could operate from the new carriers then under construction, and it went on to serve at sea as the Su-33. This Italeri boxing dates from 1990, when Western sources were still working from limited information about the aircraft.
