Description
ITA1444 - Italeri - 1/72 T-33A Shooting Star - WWHP113312
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Lockheed T-33 was developed from the P-80 fighter with a longer fuselage and a second seat, and it went on to train a generation of jet pilots through the 1950s and beyond. First flown in 1948, the T-Bird served with dozens of air arms worldwide, many airframes clocking over forty years of active service before retirement. The RCAF flew Canadair-built versions as the Silver Star well into the 1990s. This Italeri boxing is a reissue of the well regarded Platz tooling with a new decal sheet covering six operators.
