The Tornado GR.1 was the RAF's front line strike aircraft in the 1991 Gulf War, flying the low level airfield denial missions that opened the campaign. Crews stripped their aircraft to desert pink and added shark mouths, pin ups, and mission tallies, giving the type some of the most recognisable nose art of the conflict.

This is Italeri kit 1384, released for the Gulf War 25th anniversary in 2016. Engraved panel lines, a two seat cockpit, swing wings, and underwing stores. The super decal sheet covers four desert scheme RAF aircraft with their nose art and tallies. Finished model is 23.2cm long. Figures not included.
