The Harrier GR.7 was the RAF's night-attack development of the second-generation Harrier II, entering service in 1990 with a nose-mounted FLIR, night vision goggle compatible cockpit and a heavier weapons load than the original Harrier. GR.7s flew combat missions over Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan before being upgraded to GR.9 standard, serving until the RAF Harrier force was retired in 2010. Italeri released this 1/72 kit in 2001.
